Immersive, Personalized, Photography Workshop!
Join us at this photography workshop for a once in a lifetime experience. Like a favorite song that transports us back to a memorable time or place in our lives. I find myself staring into my images and remembering everything about the time, place, feeling, and the majesty of these breathtaking locations. As an award winning Master Photographer for 3o years, I can tell you that to create consistently pleasing images, you have to be intentional. I mean you have to scout and research your subject matter. Despite what Apple tells us, a camera is no guarantee of creative success, any more than having Word on your computer, makes you an accomplished author. The camera is only a tool.
Why a photography workshop?
I have benefited from many photography workshops and have studied with some of the finest photographers in the world. Imagine how great it would be for an amateur photographer to travel with a seasoned pro. A mentor could guide them to the most beautiful locations, at the best time of day, and help thexperienceem through the entire creative process. If this sounds interesting let’s talk.
The Experience
The photography workshop is limited to 10 people to insure a hands on learning experience. The dates are optimized to take advantage of the peak fall colors. Expect to be wowed as we explore this extraordinary gem. Join our band of like minded enthusiasts.
You can expect to learn Light Room workflow, Panoramas, HDR bracketing, setting your camera to get the results that you want. If the skies are clear we can capture the amazing night sky. Technique is only the first step though. What I find most lacking in many photographers are composition and lighting skills. This will be a point of emphasis in this photography workshop. While God creates the light, it is up to the photographer to find it.
The night sky reflected on the pond.
We will be working in the early morning, late afternoon and early evenings on our light quest. Midday is reserved for image review, lunch, a short hike on your own or some down time.
